HD/SD Encoding Applications

Up to 2 HD-SDI inputs support both HD and SD input formats and enable SDI input encoding in multiple resolutions, from HD to SQCIF in MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1 formats.
AQILIM *SERV/FIT supports up to 30 multiple encoding sessions from the same SDI input. With integrated HLS support for Apple devices, MPEG-TS for IPTV and Flash streaming for WEBTV the AQILIM *SERV/FIT provides a complete live multi-screen delivery system.

HD/SD Transcoding Applications
The powerful software core of the AQILIM *SERV/FIT provides multiple streaming solutions and CODEC options.

MPEG-2 to H.264 transcoding functionality reduces the original MPEG-2 bandwidth by half while preserving high quality video.

H.264 to MPEG-2 provides a professional solution to adapt the new standard H.264 stream to standard distribution networks. An H.264 to H.264 transrating function further provides the means to reduce the original H.264 bandwidth without paying the price of lost image quality.

The internal Scaler and Container Adapter provide a complete solution when delivering specific streams to Mobile Devices, WebTV and IPTV from a standard input stream.

Flexibility
The AQILIM *SERV/FIT is an all-IP solution for SDI input, high-quality HD video encoding and transcoding at data rates up to 10Mbps. Equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces the AQILIM *SERV/FIT provides complete IP flexibility. Simultaneously stream to multiple destination points in UDP, RTP or RTMP network protocols while using multiple network streaming methods such as Multicast,Unicast or Unicast Multi-point. AQILIM *SERV/FIT provides concurrent streaming over the Internet for up to 30 different IP addresses.

Intuitive System Interface/Appliance Management
Complete system management is easily undertaken through either the local HMI front panel or remotely from any web enabled PC or XML API. Start/Stop or manage up to 100 Profiles remotely through the web interface or monitor hardware status such as chassis cooling temperatures, fan speeds and alarms.
